This training, though one, gives you two certification options: 1) Dive Guide – Upon completion, you remain a recreational diver and are not bound by any recurring fees with the diving federation2) Divemaster – You are a professional dive guide and can assist instructors during courses. After this course and experience (e.g., a Divemasters internship at Deepspot), you will be fully ready for an instructor course

\r\nWhat the Dive Guide course includes: \ud83c\udf0a You will learn to independently plan dives and conduct professional briefings\ud83c\udf0a You will become competent to safely lead dive teams\ud83c\udf0a You will learn basic diving skills at a demonstration level\ud83c\udf0a You will master basic rescue skills at an expert level\ud83c\udf0a You will become a snorkeling instructor (with Divemaster certification)

\r\nPrerequisites:\ud83c\udf0a At least 15 years of age (18 for Divemaster certification)\ud83c\udf0a At least 40 logged dives\ud83c\udf0a SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification or equivalent\ud83c\udf0a A certificate from a physician that there are no contraindications to scuba diving\ud83c\udf0a The following SSI certifications or equivalent from another recognized training organization:1) Deep Diving (depth over 30 meters)2) Navigation3) Night & Limited Visibility

\r\nRequirements for certification as a Dive Guide:\ud83c\udf0a At least 50 logged dives\ud83c\udf0a Passing all requirements and assessments of the SSI Dive Guide program\ud83c\udf0a Passing the final exam

\r\nAdditional requirements for certification as a Divemaster:\ud83c\udf0a \u20ac100 NETTO SSI Pro registration fee.\ud83c\udf0a Completion of 18 years of age\ud83c\udf0a Completed React Right course with Oxygen Provider or equivalent, no more than 2 years old\ud83c\udf0a At least 60 logged dives\ud83c\udf0a Completed Science of Diving course (included in price)

\r\nWater skill requirements:\ud83c\udf0a Swimming 700 meters on the surface with fins, mask and snorkel in 20 minutes\ud83c\udf0a Water Tread, or staying upright on the surface of the water without using fins and a wetsuit for 15 minutes\ud83c\udf0a Swimming 25 meters underwater using a mask and fins\ud83c\udf0a Performing a full rescue with an unconscious diver on the surface for a total of 100 meters in eight (8) minutes. Both participants must wear a Full Diving System
