How to start the adventure of diving? Explore the underwater world with Deepspot!

Scuba diving is a sport in which one stays underwater with the help of appropriate equipment or on held breath. This sport belongs to the extreme. Therefore, in order to avoid dangerous situations, it is recommended that you complete a diving course to prepare you to embark on an underwater adventure. Deepspot offers such an opportunity not only at an attractive price – we care first and foremost about quality, so when you decide to work with us, you can count on training only with passionate and expert divers.

It is worth knowing that a recreational diver never dives alone, but in the company of a diving partner. The equipment used is practically reliable, and most accidents occur due to bravado and failure to follow the rules by divers.

Anyone can dive – regardless of fitness and figure. The prerequisite is the ability to swim a minimum of 200 meters. It’s obvious – you need to be able to swim and move in the water to dive under it. Fresh swimmers can practice their skills in pools or take swimming courses, which are available at almost every sports pool.

At Deepspot you can take advantage of the most modern swimming pool in Poland and, under the guidance of professionals, gain skills that will allow you to dive in closed and open tanks. The price of a diving course often scares people away, but wrongly so. The myth that diving is very expensive can be easily dispelled. After completing the appropriate course, the price is not much different from other sports, and the skills acquired can be used in waters around the world. What’s more, if you learn correct and safe behavior once, you’ll remember it forever and won’t have to repeat the course unless you need to.

Is scuba diving a hobby for everyone?

Diving, like any sport, requires the absence of medical contraindications. A healthy person who can swim 200 meters in any style in his own time can do a diver’s course. The basis for starting is a medical examination and a certificate of fitness to dive. You can start your adventure from the age of 8 and train practical and theoretical skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Those under 15 years of age learn in the same way as adults, but at depths of up to 12 meters underwater.

What are the contraindications to scuba diving?

  • Asthma.
  • Respiratory failure.
  • Heart Diseases.
  • Mental illnesses.
  • People who have undergone surgery (ear, nose, heart lung) – it is necessary to present a certificate of no contraindication from a doctor.
  • Pregnancy.

What types of diving are there? Learn about the main types and choose the one that suits you best

Depending on the expected experience, we have several types of diving to choose from:

  • Snorkeling – diving with basic ABC equipment.
  • Freediving – diving on stopped breath.
  • Scuba diving – diving with equipment (an air cylinder for breathing underwater).
    • Wreck diving – exploration of sunken shipwrecks.
    • Deep diving – above 40 meters deep, requiring specialized equipment and skills.
    • Night diving – observation of underwater life, good lighting is essential.

    • et al.

Where to start the diving adventure?

A scuba course is not required for recreational swimming on and below the surface of the water in basic equipment such as mask, snorkel and fins (snorkeling). Snorkeling is the easiest way to explore the underwater world. The floater floats on the water and through the mask observes what is underneath. A mask, snorkel and fins are the basic equipment in snorkeling, the so-called ABCs. These are items that can be rented or purchased to match. In colder waters, a wetsuit is also useful. A more advanced form, in which one dives below the surface of the water on held breath and with only basic equipment, is Freediving. Great swimming skills are essential here.

In the Freediving course you will learn more about the equipment used in the dive and about the aquatic environment. You will also learn basic safety rules and methods for swimming underwater. You should start your diving adventure by enrolling in a diving course for beginners, which at Deepspot is prepared with great care. Water is not a natural environment for humans, so it is essential to have adequate theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This will be the basis for safety and, of course, fun. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who allow you to quickly understand and acquire the basics of the sport. The document confirming the skills and qualifications acquired is a diving certificate. It is with him that a diver can rent equipment and use dive bases, which are located in many beautiful places on earth.
