There are evenings when diving is no longer just diving—it becomes part of something much bigger. That’s exactly what the evening of November 7 will be like, when we’ll dive together at Deepspot during Diversnight, an international celebration of night diving.

What is Diversnight?

This event originated in Norway in 2005 as an attempt to break the record for the number of divers underwater at the same time at night. Since then, every year on the first Saturday in November, divers around the world—from Scandinavian fjords to lakes, quarries, and diving pools—dive underwater at exactly the same time local time. In record-breaking editions, thousands of divers have participated across several hundred locations and dozens of countries. It is a shared experience, a celebration of passion and the diving community, in which every participant is equally important.

The most interesting tradition of Diversnight has to do with the start time: it always corresponds to the current year. This year, that means that at exactly 8:26 p.m., we’ll all be in the water, along with divers from many countries who will be diving at the same moment in their respective locations. It’s a truly unique time slot and a special moment that’s worth experiencing in person.

How can you join?

Simply purchase a standard Scuba Diver ticket for 8:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to prepare calmly, assemble your gear, coordinate a plan with your buddy, and enter the water without rushing before the group start.

Importantly, you can stay in the water until 10:00 p.m. at the latest—at no extra charge! That’s almost two hours to explore Deepspot in a cozy, nighttime atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The pool takes on a completely different character at this time of night and can surprise even those who’ve been here many times before.

Let’s keep safety rules in mind: we’ll dive on a single tank and end the dive with a minimum reserve of 50 bar. Good preparation and common sense are essential—they’ll ensure that we can all fully enjoy this evening.
