WHAT IS IT?

Fotoweekend is an event promoting underwater photography.

It’s a rich program of lectures (information you won’t find on the Internet!) and hands-on activities designed to open the gateway to better photography.

In addition, the event includes an exhibition showcasing the best works of several Polish underwater photographers with an opening reception and banquet!

WHAT CAN THE WORKSHOP GIVE YOU?

You will expand your knowledge of the principles of underwater photography and the configuration of photographic equipment. You will take part in practical thematic classes and consult with an expert on your top 10 photographs.

You will also meet people who, like you, dive for photography.

WHAT WILL WE PRACTICE?

Learn how to capture even better moments underwater during one-on-one consultations with experts.

During Saturday classes in the lecture hall:

– You will learn about the most beautiful dive sites in the world, selected by a traveler and photographer.

– You will gain the secrets of black water photography.

– You will master advanced shooting techniques such as pano splits and sunbursts.

– You will learn how to effectively promote your work as an underwater photographer.

– You will learn the meanderings of photographing in extremely harsh conditions.

– You will be inspired by the best film impressions created from underwater landscapes.

In the evening of the same day, we will plan joint diving and photography trips, starting this with the symbolic opening of the underwater photography exhibition presented at Deepspot.

On Sunday, you will participate in 120 minutes of pool activities:

– Workshop on the principles of combining artificial and natural light.

– Photo session in indoor spaces.

– Dive-model photography session.

– Macro photography session.

– you will test the components of photographic and lighting equipment.

Anyone with their underwater photography equipment and a diver’s license (min. OWD, P1) can sign up for the Underwater Photography Weekend

Bartosz Stróżyński – photographer and filmmaker by vocation, composer, lyricist, multimedia producer;
Wojciech Męczynski – photographer and traveler, documenting the largest and smallest inhabitants of the oceans;
Marta Smaga – traveler and marketing and promotion specialist;
Irena Stangierska – author of picturesque underwater photos, leading author workshops in underwater photography; , computer graphic designer;
Piotr Stós – diving and underwater photography instructor, biologist, organizer of safaris and diving expeditions at Nautica Safari, host of the Nautica Vis dive base;
Patryk Krzyzak – traveler, volcano enthusiast, underwater photographer and diving doctor;
Marcin Trzcinski – underwater filmmaker and photographer, owner of FotoPodwodna store;
Wojciech Jeznach – filmmaker with 35 years of experience, traveler and lover of life;
Tomasz Plocinski – underwater photography instructor, daily manager of the Electron Microscopy Laboratory, host of the website fotografpodwodny.pl
