What would you take with you in a life raft given two minutes to evacuate?

Participate in the Marine Survival workshop at Deepspot!.

WHAT IS IT?

Sea Survival is a several-hour workshop on survival techniques at sea when the ship sinks. An amazing adventure combined with a large dose of knowledge and skills necessary to cope with situations after abandoning ship

WHAT CAN IT GIVE YOU?

You will see for yourself what teamwork is in an extreme situation and experience how much strength is required to perform basic rescue operations in water. You will build awareness of how to act when relying on the skills and stress resistance of the entire crew.

What Will We Exercise?

During training you will, among other things, use safety belts and wetsuits, be evacuated from the water using a life loop. You will master skills such as: jumping into the water, moving in a wetsuit, evacuation techniques or turning a raft after a capsize.

In class:

– learn how to use individual and collective means of rescue
– learn teamwork techniques
– experience the difficulties of survival in water
– harden your character

And most of all, you’ll have a great time! 😊

WHERE TO?

Anyone 16 years of age or older can sign up for the training. The workshop is for anyone who would like to feel the thrill of adrenaline.

Who will conduct the training?
The training will be conducted by instructors from the European STCW Center, who educate maritime infrastructure operators and uniformed services officers on a daily basis

Krzysztof Miliński – several years of service experience in sea work. Former operator of maritime special forces unit. Deputy commander of the patrol and pursuit unit. Comprehensive training in many areas determines in him an interdisciplinary approach to training.

Piotr Malala – former special forces soldier, commander of a security team for combating piracy and maritime terrorism on vessels operating in the Indian Ocean. Several years of experience as a lecturer on maritime issues. He teaches in Polish and English. Holds a number of instructor and international qualifications:
