First Certificate of Authorization for Independent Diving
SCUBA equipment diving course during which you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to safely practice diving – assisted by a partner – in confined waters, such as Deepspot, to a depth of 18 meters. Upon completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Indoor Diver. Obtaining this certification gives you the opportunity to quickly upgrade your credentials to OWD (Open Water Diver) level so you can dive, up to a depth of 18 meters, in open water. It requires an additional two dives, which you can do anytime and anywhere in the world. You can also make them with us in the summer for free. We implement these upgrades on Honoratka.

Scuba diving is a recreational sport available to almost everyone. If your health is in good shape, you most likely do not need permission from a doctor, no less in some special cases it may be necessary. If you want to be sure, you can read the standard in advance

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
After completing the program and passing the theory and practice exam, you will be certified as an SSI Indoor Diver. The certificate allows you to complete your training in open water, in any diving organization, and obtain an Open Water Diver certificate authorizing you to dive, with a partner’s belay, in open water to a depth of 18 meters. Obtaining OWD certification requires 2 dives in open water under the supervision of an instructor.
The INDOOR diving course is designed for:
– Persons who have never dived with equipment (Scuba);
– Persons who have passed the First Scuba Dive course (Try Scuba SSI or a similar course in another diving organization) or any other shallow pool course of the Basic Diver, Pool Diver or Scuba Diver type that does not give the authority to dive independently, assisted by a partner, in open water;
The course consists of a theoretical part, exercises at the Deepspot facility and online training. The total duration of the course itself, not including time for self-study, commuting and breaks between classes, is about 20 hours, of which about 10 hours are in the water. Obtaining the certificate requires passing a written exam, a diving skills test and a swimming test (200m freestyle).
The course will be organized as a recurring event held on specific days and times of the week in two formats:
– Weekend: 3 visits to Deepspot
– On weekdays: 3-6 visits to Deepspot

Arrive 60 minutes before the class start time and report to the reception desk to complete the documents.

The first part of the course is a theoretical class taught by a DEEPSPOT instructor during which you will discuss all aspects of diving with equipment.
You will also be able to master the material through online training, which we will make available to you through the MYSSI app for your cell phone. -
The second part of the course consists of practical activities in Deepspot: briefing, exercise presentation and diving.
Tell the instructor if you need repetition of exercises or if something is unclear.
